- I’m a parent or caregiver, how can I find a therapist or practitioner for my family?
- Please visit the Find a Practitioner in DDP near you page and search using the form.
- I’m a certified Practitioner in DDP, when will my details be added to the Find a DDP Practitioner, Consultant or Trainer page?
- If you’re already certified by the DDPI then your details will be added to the main Find a DDP Practitioner, Consultant or Trainer page. Please make sure you have provided the following information; Name, Qualifications, Certification level, contact details, County/State and Country. You can contact the DDP Network via the Contact page.
- I am booked onto Level One training. Why isn’t it listed in the Events on the website?
- The website only includes Level One and Two training that people can book on to. Some are commissioned by a Local Authority or a NHS Trust primarily for the people who work in the organisation. These are only included in the Events if they have places available for other people to apply for.
- I would like someone in my area to run a one-day training course for my organisation. I am not sure how to do this. Who should I contact and how?
- DDP Level One and Two training needs to be run by a DDPI approved certified Trainer, however, one-day training in these approaches are provided by many people. You could contact via email someone on the Find a Practitioner page who is a Practitioner or someone who is in the process of being certified. They won’t all be providing one-day training but they might know someone who does.Alternatively you could email the DDPI at Contact DDPI, or email your country’s Network site (Contact DDP Connects UK or Contact DDP USA & Canada) for more information.
- We are parents of 2 adopted children and would like someone to help us but are not sure if DDP is the best therapy? Who can help us decide?
- You could visit Is DDP right for my family? to see if this answers any of your questions. You could also contact the nearest Practitioner to you in Find a Practitioner as they may be able to help.
