Are you interested in shaping the future of DDP, supporting DDP research and contributing to DDPI Worldwide?
We are looking for passionate DDP community members, from across the world and with different specialisms and experience, to register an interest in joining our new Conference Committee.
The committee will be responsible for planning all future global DDP conferences starting with our next one in 2027. We’re keen for people in all countries to express an interest, especially if you’re a Global Majority community member or live in the Global South. The committee will work directly under the DDPI Worldwide Board, with its own Board liaison, and be supported by our Executive team.
Past Conference working group members for our 2024 conference can attest to how interesting, engaging and rewarding the work can be.
“The conference in Nottingham in 2024 was a powerful moment for our community – a hall filled with energy, connection alongside colleagues joining us online from across the world. We’re now ready to take the next step and begin shaping our 2027 conference. To do that, we’re forming a new Conference Committee, and we’re looking for people who want to help bring this to life.
You won’t be doing it alone – full operational support will be in place. We’re hoping for a group with creativity, energy and ideas – we need people who can imagine what our next conference could be and help us build it.
Whether you’re newer to DDP and want to meet people and get involved in a project with us, a practitioner looking to develop your contribution to the wider community, or someone with organisational or event-planning skills and a little spare time, DDPI Worldwide would love to hear from you.”
