Join our Editorial team

14 March 2024

Are you interested in getting more involved in DDP and DDPI Worldwide?

We are looking for new volunteers, DDP Level Two trained and above, from all around the world to join us on the Editorial team.

The Editorial team works together to produce all of our public content across our websites, newsletters, social media and Google Group/Listserv.

It is incredibly interesting and engaging work as we’re privileged to view the most up to date news, research and publications in the DDP world. If you want to help and stay up to date this could be for you!

We are also looking for DDP Practitioners and above to help us by becoming Editorial Readers. Editorial Readers read and review copies of the latest books around DDP. You would be provided with a free PDF copy of the book and could put this work towards your continued professional development (CPD).

You can see our work in the DDP Resource Library, Latest News section and in past DDP Global Conversations newsletters. Last year we were invited to view the documentary film Sam Now and from this we published an interview with Reed Harkness, the film’s director, and Leah Crane.

Our team consists of Anna Binnie-Dawson (United Kingdom), Leah Crane (United States), Liz Tower (United Kingdom), Leila Caston (United Kingdom) Marie Kershaw (United Kingdom).

We meet monthly on Zoom for one hour and use Slack messaging for discussions in between meetings. The day to day work is ongoing, and so our team needs to be responsive to emails and notifications. Volunteers typically work no more than one hour a week plus the monthly online meeting. There are no fixed terms, you can decide how long you would like to help, and no prior editorial experience is required.

If this sounds interesting we’d love you to get in touch by emailing Leila on ddpi.admin@ddpnetwork.org

Please join us, get involved and help make a difference!
