Grants for DDP trainings in 2021 are being generously offered by Compass Seminars AUS.

Two separate practitioners will receive $750 AUD each to cover a DDP Level One training in Australia, run by Compass Seminars AUS. The grants are a part of their commitment to supporting the development of Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) across Australasia and contribute to DDPI’s Global Development aims.

To apply for the grant you must fulfil one of the following:

  • be from an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background;
  • be from a rural or remote area; or
  • be from a refugee background or work with refugees; or
  • work in a domestic violence service.

Submissions are now open, the closing date for new entries is 30 June 2021 and both winners will be notified on 5 July 2021. Winners will also listed on the Compass Seminars AUS website and their social media channels. Grants must be used by 31 December 2021.

For more information and to apply please visit the DDP Grant Opportunities page. Compass Seminars AUS hope to extend their 2022 grants to cover DDP Level Two trainings as well.

Compass Seminars AUS is one of two organisations which work with DDPI to supply DDP Trainings to practitioners in Australasia and Southeast Asia. Currently due to international COVID-19 restrictions, they have been approved by DDPI to use a hybrid training system where participants will be at the venue as a group and the DDP Trainer will present via an interactive live-stream video connection across two screens.
