We are delighted to announce the new Research section on the DDP Network website.
This section is now the authoritative home for all current, future and past research into DDP. It contains expanded explorations into the growing evidence base, updates on current research and DDPI supported projects, as well as all research published in the DDP Resource Library, and DDP research news and announcements.
Important current developments include the NIHR funded The Relationships in Good Hands (RIGHT) Trial, updated guidance on using questionnaires and the new Carer Questionnaire, Thinking About Your Child-Revised, available as a resource with scorer.
The Research Committee of DDPI is represented for the first time on the new Contact the Research team page. The committee develops and supports research opportunities to promote evidence based research in DDP.
“At an exciting time for research in DDP, with the NIHR funded RIGHT Trial of Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy underway, we are pleased to announce our new, revised section.
We are keen to expand our membership on the Research Committee at DDPI and you can find out more about this too. We look forward to hearing from you if you’d like to take part. We hope the pages help you with your work and add to an evidence based approach to our collective work in DDP.”

If you are interested in hearing more about the Committee and their vital, ongoing work, and if you’d like to join them, please contact Ben Gurney-Smith, the Research Committee Chair.
DDP encompasses a range of interventions, including the therapy and practice model, and can be applied over many settings such as education and parenting.
Though in the relative early stages of building a strong empirical base, through qualitative and quantitative studies and now the RIGHT Trial, DDP has a strong foundation as we work towards firmly establishing the efficacy of the DDP model.
