New DDP Community Reflections articles from Singapore practitioners

10 May 2021

We are pleased to introduce two new DDP Community Reflections articles from Singapore practitioners, Sylvia Cheng and Eunice Ew.

In ‘Forming the first DDP Supervision Group, Singapore’, Sylvia Cheng reflects upon helping to create the first group for the region, supervised by Hannah Sun-Reid. She shares what she has learnt throughout the journey and how valuable DDP supervision groups can be to ongoing DDP practice and professional development.

Eunice Ew explores her experiences and responses to DDP Level One and Two training in ‘Reflection on DDP Core Training as a foster care team leader, Singapore’. She discusses using PACE and DDP to develop deep connections and overcome block care and blocked trust, reflecting on the hope that this brings to practitioners and families.

DDP Community Reflections

The DDP Community Reflections section of the DDP Resource Library is a place for the varied voices of our DDP Community to explore themes around DDP and their professional working lives.

If you or someone you know has a personal article you’d like us to consider for this section, or if you’d like to find out more about writing one, please email submissions@ddpnetwork.org. Authors should be a part of the wider DDP Community and the content should be around DDP themes and/or related subjects.

The views and opinions expressed in DDP Community Reflections articles are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect the position of DDPI, DDP Connects UK or DDP Network.
