‘Parenting a Traumatised Child While Living through COVID-19’ with Dan Hughes and Sez Morse

2 April 2020
Dr Dan Hughes and Sarah Morse

Dan Hughes and Sez Morse have published a video and made it available to the DDP Network.

In ‘Parenting a Traumatised Child While Living through COVID-19’, they speak warmly and directly to support parents, foster carers and other caregivers around the challenges of parenting traumatised children during the COVID-19 global health and economic crisis.

Dan and Sez offer perspectives on why it might be understandably difficult to stay regulated and PACEful with their children at this unprecedented time and reflect on the additional stressors of supporting children who might be experiencing racism and bias due to their racial and ethnic identity.

Dan Hughes is the Founder of DDP, DDP Trainer and celebrated author, and Sez Morse is a DDP Connects UK Director and DDP Trainer.

It has been added to the DDP Library and can be streamed directly from the link below or on YouTube,

Many thanks to Sez for creating, subtitling and sharing the video.
