‘Understanding and helping children who have experienced maltreatment’ article by Kim S. Golding published

A new article by Kim S. Golding CBE has been published in the November edition of Paediatrics and Child Health.

‘Understanding and helping children who have experienced maltreatment’ examines Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy and Practice (DDP) as an intervention model, the use of PACE and Kim’s Pyramid of Need when working with children and young people who have experienced developmental trauma.

Kim was invited by Doug Simkiss, Associate Editor and paediatrician, to contribute the article as part of the Paediatrics and Child Health Journal symposium on Safeguarding Children.

It has been added to the DDP Library, and is available in full on the journal website, DOI: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.paed.2020.08.002.
