Dan Hughes was invited to speak at the Herzliya University’s School of Psychology in Israel this March.

He ran a two-day seminar from March 10th to 11th 2014 on Attachment Focussed Family Therapy.

The School of Psychology is developing an Attachment specialty in their Clinical Psychology Training Program. Dan presented an overview of DDP to assist in the development of this new specialty for Herzliya University.

Topics included; specific characteristics of attachment-based family therapy, emotional dialogue, Verbal communication / non-verbal and experiential / reflective interactive, Specific features for working with adoptive families , foster families and children in boarding schools and therapeutic institutions, Perspective undertaking of treatment goals, Developmental trauma and attachment disorganized attachment and Intersubjectivity.
