Join Mikenda Plant in conversation with Ryan Mawbey for a free webinar on Wednesday 15 March, 2023.

They will be introducing PACE as a therapeutic parenting attitude and how this might be practised and be of benefit within residential care. It is going ahead online from 10am to 11:30am, tickets are free and available through Eventbrite.

It is part of the webinar series “Building the best foundation for growth, learning and life for the SEN child” hosted and run by the Kedleston Group, UK.

“The [series] will examine, through our programme of expert speakers, a range of key societal, therapeutic and educational themes including inclusion, diversity and sex and relationships and the vital role understanding these and embedding them into everyday practice has in creating the best possible foundation for a child’s future.”

Mikenda Plant is a DDP Trainer, author and Family and Systemic Psychotherapist. She has written and illustrated two books as part of the Moffles series, as well as numerous resources around DDP and PACE. She integrates Mindfulness into her therapeutic practice and runs the East Midlands DDP & Mindfulness Interest Group, supported by DDP Connects UK.

Ryan Mawbey is the operations manager for Trauma in Mind, experienced residential children’s carer and musician.
