Professor Erica Myers-Davis
Executive Director
I’m a strategist, storyteller, and systems thinker with nearly three decades of experience leading and advising values-driven organisations across health, mental health, Indigenous rights, veterans’ advocacy, and philanthropy. My work focuses on equity-centred leadership, place-based solutions, and helping organisations grow with integrity and care.
One of my proudest contributions is Under One Flag, a book that honours the often-overlooked contributions of Indigenous and ethnic service personnel during WWII. It reflects a lifelong commitment to lifting the voices of those too often forgotten, and to creating systems that respect dignity, culture, and community wisdom.
As Executive Director of DDPI Worldwide, I bring strategic insight, a deeply relational leadership style, and a strong belief in agile, localised practice. I’m passionate about Indigenous knowledge systems and supporting communities to define their own challenges, set their own priorities, and develop culturally grounded responses that reflect local knowledge and lived experience.
My vision is for DDP to be recognised not just as a clinical model, but as a global standard for relational, equity-informed healing—applied across sectors, adapted across cultures, and embedded in the systems that shape children’s and ultimately, all of our lives.
I currently live and work between Greece and Australia. When I’m not consulting, you’ll find me teaching and mentoring future change makers through the RSA Junior Fellows program at the University of Fiji—or behind the decks DJing at clubs and festivals – passport in one hand, record bag and board papers in the other… ready for whatever the flight path brings.

Dr. Vicky Sutton
Clinical Director
I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, DDP Practitioner, Consultant, and Trainer, and DDP has been central to my professional life for nearly two decades. Since first completing Level One training with Dan Hughes in 2006, I have remained deeply committed to DDP as both a therapeutic model and a way of thinking about relationships, safety, and healing.
Over the years, I have supported the development of DDP in a range of roles, including as a DDPI Worldwide Board Member and Director of DDP Connects UK. I have also chaired committees focused on certification and community development, helping to create structures that support transparency, coherence, and connection across the organisation. I am especially proud to have helped establish Special Interest Groups, which have created valuable spaces for learning, reflection, and belonging within the DDP community.
Alongside these roles, I bring extensive experience of embedding DDP within complex systems, including Social Services, where I have seen how important it is to pair training with thoughtful supervision, consultation, and reflective practice. I care deeply about relational safety, equity, and integrity.
As Clinical Director, I hope to support DDPI Worldwide in continuing to grow as an inclusive, connected, and thoughtful global community, while maintaining high standards and widening access to DDP for practitioners, children, and families.

Delroy Madden
Diversity Equality & Inclusion Consultant
I am very excited to be part of a significant moment in the development of DDPI with the formation of the Worldwide board. My journey with DDPI started in 2018, when I started my DDP Level One and later continuing on to complete my DDP Level Two.
I then went on to become a committee member of the Racial Equality and Social Justice (RESJ) who were formed to help DDPI address the social imbalances that exist within the organisation and wider society that we engage with.
I have built a strong background working within various children and family services over the past 15 years here in the UK. This has involved me supporting children from many different ethnic backgrounds who have experienced various types of trauma and attachment disorders. This work has also included supporting parents who also may have experienced childhood trauma, or who simply have needed support developing their parenting style and experience.
In 2020 I then went on to set up my own consultancy that specialised in supporting organisations imbed cultural competency and anti-racist practices into their organisations. This has given me a vast amount of experience in supporting the strategic development of organisations in this area. Presently I am the team lead of the EDI (equality diversity & inclusion) department at a Local Authority here in the UK.
Leila Caston
Operations Manager
Leila is an experienced project manager and operations director, having worked on complex projects across a number of industries and territories over the past 30 years. She previously worked as a TV producer for a global advertising agency and has worked for magazine publishers, design agencies and accountancy firms as well as DDPI since 2021.
Leila spent over a decade living in Sydney, Australia where she met her partner and where her two sons were born. Leila has a lived experience of supporting loved ones with alcohol and substance misuse and education has been an important part of her journey to understand the complexities that surround addiction. She strongly believes equity and equality are essential to support people to live with alcohol and substance misuse.
Leila lives near Bath in South West, UK with her family, including two cats, and enjoys dancing, crochet and learning French.
Liz Tower
Digital Systems Manager, Communications Manager
For over 20 years, Liz has been developing websites and managing web and systems projects. She has experience working with small businesses and large agencies, in diverse areas including mental health and UK retail, and across numerous departments such as communications and events.
She has a background in Fine Art and passionately believes in equity of access and uplifting marginalised voices within the arts and society at large.
Liz lives and works from South Yorkshire, UK with her cat Thor, and enjoys reading, theatre, gardening and the outdoors.
