Residential care is a complex relational environment. Join Edwina Grant and Alison Keith for this workshop and explore how DDP principles and practice can be effectively applied in a residential context.

Where PACEful practice is the surround sound for all relationships – adults with children, adults with each other – children and young people who have been harmed through relationships can heal and discover more positive ways of living, loving and learning.

You will learn about:

  • The DDP Practice model applied to residential settings
  • PACE with children and their families, in teamwork and in staff support and supervision

Who can attend?

This workshop is available to people with some experience of DDP PACE Training or some knowledge of DDP, with an interest in applying the principles to residential care.

About the presenters

Edwina Grant is an Educational Psychologist and DDP Trainer. She has worked with children and families for over 30 years and has a passion for applying DDP principles to practice in residential settings.

Alison Keith is a DDP Practitioner, Consultant and Trainer and DDPI Worldwide Board member. Alison spent a number of years working as a residential social worker and now enjoys helping residential organisations increase their understanding of DDP and how to be PACEFUL within their practice

DDP in focus is an online professional development and education program for 2024 from DDPI Worldwide. Comprising workshops, seminars and supervision sessions, this series will help you develop and broaden your cultural competency, DDP skills and practice.
