Deconstructing PACE through an Intersectional Lens

25 June 2024 (2:00 pm - 5:00 pm BSTEurope/London)
Online
Fully booked
Worldwide

The aims of this workshop with Dr Jacqueline Lynch will be to look at the PACE approach and extend this to explore how this can be interpreted through a lens of the Global Majority.

It will look at parent child attachment through a cross cultural lens and it is hoped that you will expand your own horizons about how to introduce PACEfulness to families who may not share your own cultural identity.

This course is for everyone working with families and parents who would like to stretch their own cultural understanding of difference to help them to become more culturally sensitive and confident in exploring PACE with families as it shows up in their families. This is not racial equity training, but it does have the aim of acknowledging that there are lots of ways to be PACEful, and will hopefully build your awareness of this.

Who can attend?

This workshop is available to anyone who has completed a DDP Level One training.
