Triple Trouble: A Brain Based Model Of Developmental Trauma – EST

7 March 2024 (9:00 am - 12:30 pm EST)
Fully booked

Putting The Brain In Treatment: An Integrative Model for Understanding and Treating Developmental Trauma

Join Jon Baylin as he presents his “triple trouble” model of developmental trauma: loss of safety, self, and hope.

Then he will present his current thinking about ways to integrate relational and non-relational processes to maximize potential for change. He will discuss a neuroscience based approach to understanding the processes of change as clients with blocked trust and blocked care shift towards trust-based relationships.

He will cover ways to integrate DDP processes with the polyvagal model, recent work in the field of neurofeedback, and the newer focus on the orienting system and ways to help “reorient” defensive children to signs of safety in their current lives.

Who can attend?

This workshop is available to anyone who has completed a DDP Level One training.
