Insecure attachment

A research classification within Attachment Theory. These patterns of attachment behavior reflect varying degrees of a lack of safety in the attachment and may manifest as avoidant, ambivalent, or disorganised. Children experience insecurity of attachment when parents are insensitive and unresponsive to their needs. About 35% of all children have an insecure pattern.
