The Scottish Government commissioned the Centre for Excellence for Looked After Children in Scotland (CELCIS) and Scottish Attachment in Action (SAIA) to map attachment training and attachment focused practice in Scotland.

This report examines the importance of attachment as an underpinning and cohering theoretical framework for practice with young people in care and care leavers for all professionals and agencies that contribute to their care and support.
