Biography

Anne received a B.A. in Musicology with a second major in Child Development from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. She served as a Youth Development Volunteer in the Peace Corps in Ukraine’s Mykolayivska Oblast before attending Washington University’s Brown School of Social Work. Anne focused her graduate studies on clinical social work, specializing in treating trauma in children and youth.

She is trained in Integrative Treatment of Complex Trauma (ITCT); is a Missouri rostered provider of TF-CBT and a licensed PCIT clinician.
Anne’s current practice is at FamilyForward, a non-profit agency in St. Louis dedicated to helping children and families heal from developmental trauma. Many of Anne’s clients are in foster care or have been adopted out of foster care and require treatment to focus on attachment and healing from early trauma.

Anne works primarily with children between the ages of 3-13, along with the adults raising them.
