Claire is an experienced, HCPC registered Social Worker who works therapeutically for LAs, VAAs and IFAs across the North East and West. She conducts specialist assessments, matches carers with children and provides holistic support to families. Claire also lectures and delivers a range of training courses.

Claire is enjoying doing the Practicum; using DDP with families brought together by adoption, fostering and special guardianship. She hopes to develop her skills in facilitating communication and encouraging a supportive family environment in which parents can help their children heal.

Before becoming a Social Worker, Claire worked as a residential and community Support Worker and Project Coordinator in the UK, India, Tanzania, Romania and Bulgaria. She is passionate about supporting children who have experienced abuse and neglect to develop and maintain positive relationships.
