Biography

Dr Nneamaka Ekebuisi (known as Eny) is a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist and holds Chartered status with the British Psychological Society (BPS). She has completed the DDP Level 2 Training and is currently on the practicum to become a qualified DDP Practitioner.

Eny has worked with children, young people and families for over 20 years, and specialises in working with families where there has been a history of trauma and abuse. Her background prior to qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist includes working within residential drug rehabilitation units, prisons and criminal justice services, with homeless populations and deputy managing a children’s residential home, which provides her with a rich knowledge base to apply to her current work.

At present, Eny works for Psychology Associates, based in Devon and Cornwall, where she has worked since qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist in 2018. Here she works predominantly with adopted and fostered families, and provides training, consultation and supervision in children’s homes to support staff and management.
