Practitioner in DDP
Jana studied psychology at Charles University in Prague, the Czech Republic.
She was confronted with attachment disorders when she with her husband adopted a child cared by an institution. This was the source of her involvement and interest in attachment disorders therapy. She began to work in a Home for Children trying to find a way how to help children in institutional care. Step by step she has got acquainted with various methods, completed two four-year self-experiencing psychotherapeutic trainings and discovered DDP.
Gradually she has started to work with adoptive and foster families. In 2017 she established The Attachment Centre ATTA. ATTA focuses on therapeutic parenting and providing long-term assistance to families caring for children with attachment disorders especially in the foster care. DDP is one of the most important therapeutic tools she uses in her practice.
