I’m a clinical psychologist from Chile, and my focus is supporting children and their caregivers in building safe, secure attachment relationships—especially when early experiences of trauma or loss have made connection difficult. Early in my career, I worked in mental health programs in Brazil and the United States, supporting children in residential and psychiatric units. I saw how deeply children struggled with dysregulation, fear, and disconnection, and how often caregivers and professionals felt helpless or overwhelmed.
When I began integrating DDP into my work, everything shifted. I found a framework that honored both the child’s emotional experience and the caregiver’s longing to connect. DDP offered relational, practical tools that made healing possible—not just for the child, but within the caregiving relationship.
For the past ten years, I’ve been based in Chile, working with children, adolescents, and adults through a trauma-informed, attachment-focused lens. I’ve supported children with a range of experiences, including early neglect, complex trauma, exposure to violence, and parental mental illness. I’m also trained in Theraplay and use playful, embodied approaches to deepen connection and co-regulation.
This integrative work continues to inspire me and strengthen my belief in the power of relationships to heal and transform lives.
