Debra (Padmini) Bergman-Bue
MA, LMFT #77146
Padmini has been a licensed therapist since October 2013. She has worked in several therapeutic domains including non-profit community based agencies and private practice. The last five years of agency work were spent working in foster care and APSS (adoption promotion and support services) at Five Acres. Her focus at her agency and private practice is predominately with traumatized children, adolescents and their families while seeing some couples, individuals and biological families with easily frustrated children. She provides training at her agency on PACE and other DDP interventions.
Prior to entering the psychology field, Padmini worked in the entertainment industry for 25 years. She transitioned to mental health after taking time off to develop her personal and spiritual life. She holds multiple yoga and mindfulness certifications. She also co-founded a non-profit, ADWH, providing medical care to those in need in remote regions of the world.
In 2013, Padmini was placed with a child from DCFS LA becoming a foster/adoptive parent. She is now the adoptive mother of a special needs 8 year old boy. Over the last 2.5 years, Padmini has utilized her training and put it to use in her personal life. She aspires to be a DDP trainer/consultant.
