Biography

Sarah is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist who, over the last 18 years, has specialised in working with children and families, developing an expertise in working with those affected by trauma. Sarah has managed an Ofsted rated "Outstanding" Adoption Support Agency as well as a post sexual abuse therapy service. She has also worked closely with the NSPCC, supporting them with the development of therapeutic services for children who have experienced abuse and neglect, as well as facilitating training for frontline practitioners within the charity.

Sarah currently works as an independent psychologist, providing assessment, consultation, training and therapy, primarily using DDP as a framework to guide her work. The focus upon relationships as a vehicle for change is what drew Sarah to DDP, and she feels privileged to be part of a family's therapeutic journey towards security, resilience and recovery.
