BASE ® Babywatching One-Day Conference with Dan Hughes, London, April 2020

17 February 2020
B.A.S.E. ® Babywatching

Dan Hughes will be introducing BASE ® Babywatching at a one-day conference in London on 25 April 2020.

BASE ® Babywatching is a schools-based programme. The Babywatching UK team describe the programme as where:

B.A.S.E. stands for Babywatching to reduce Anxiety and Aggression and promote Sensitivity and Empathy.

A parent and their baby visit a class of children once a week for half an hour so the pupils can watch their developing relationships and interactions. Guided by the Group Leader, who is often their teacher, this simple act of detailed observation and group discussion reduces children’s anxiety and aggression by increasing understanding and empathy. feedback Children (and older pupils) feel safer, more focused and ready to learn.

The day will empower attendees to focus on practical ways to support all children to develop their interpersonal and intrapersonal skills vital for accessing education.”

The training is being held at Greycoat Hospital School, Victoria, London, SW1P 2DY. The standard ticket is £150, lunch and refreshments included, with 10% off for Babywatching Mentors and Group Leaders, and VbE members.

Please see the BASE ® Babywatching conference website for more information, download the flyer and to book your tickets.
