A day with Kim S Golding
DDP Connects UK and Ireland is excited to announce that the first All Ireland DDP Study Day will be held on 12 October 2026 in Dublin. This is an opportunity for anyone who has completed DDP Level One training and above. There will be opportunities to connect with colleagues from across the island of Ireland within an atmosphere of learning and sharing together.
For this inaugural Study Day in Ireland we will be joined by Kim Golding who will take us further into her experience of understanding and helping traumatised children and their families. Through readings and discussion we will learn together through a lens of DDP and PACE. Kim will share from her most recent publication The DDP Guide to Healing Childhood Trauma.
We also invite those who attend to bring with them ideas about how we can move the practice of DDP forward across all of Ireland, to support colleagues who endeavour to develop and embed skills within DDP.
This event is limited to 40 participants so early booking will be essential. It is hoped that this can be the first of many events which can support our colleagues working and living across Ireland, as well as continuing to be connected to the wider UK and Ireland DDP community.
The cost for this event is set at £75. Participants will need to cover this cost at booking. Should a participant be supported by their employer to attend this will need to be reclaimed as an expense.
Teas, coffees and pastries will be provided in the morning and also a tasty lunch.
