Please note: this training takes place over two sets of two days, two weeks apart, 9-10 and 23-24 November 2021
Trainer: Joy Gamble, Educational and Child Psychologist
This four day course is open to those professionals who have undertaken DDP Level One training and are beginning to use the principles and interventions of Dyadic Developmental Practice, Parenting and Psychotherapy in their day to day work.
It focuses on gaining a deeper understanding of the theory, successes and barriers experienced by participants in applying the model in practice, more videos and discussion of DDP and the impact of participant’s own attachment experiences.
It is helpful if participants have examples of their own DDP practice, such as case studies and/or recordings, to share with the group.
Please note that while Level One and Two are open access for professionals working with children and families, there are specific requirements that need to be fulfilled for those who plan to go on to apply for certification as a Practitioner in DDP. Please refer to What is required before starting the practicum for further information.
