Step 1: Introduction to Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy attitude of PACE Training for Professionals

This DDP PACE for Professionals training aims to introduce and inform practitioners about PACE and help them to explore how they can bring the attitude of PACE into their practice. DDP PACE trainings are provided by approved DDP PACE Trainers.

The training covers core concepts;

  • Understanding the impact of developmental trauma on children’s emotional health and well being and how to respond to this within parenting
  • Developing regulation and mentalization in the parents within their parenting
  • Exploring PACE as a way of being and the importance of the different components within this
  • Exploration of DDP informed therapeutic parenting incorporating the attitude of PACE

“Step 2: Deepening your relational connections with an Attitude of PACE (or Professionals who have completed Step 1 or other related DDP training)” is on 16 June, 2023 and costs £180 per participant. Please see the individual training page for more information.
