This DDP PACE for Professionals 2 day training takes place on 16 and 23 October, 2023.
This training explores DDP PACE and focuses on helping professionals to develop an attitude of PACE, as part of their practice. DDP PACE trainings are provided by DDP PACE Trainers, supported by DDPI.
The training covers core concepts;
- Understanding the impact of developmental trauma on children’s emotional health and well being and how to respond to this within parenting
- Developing regulation and mentalization in the parents within their parenting
- Exploring PACE as a way of being and the importance of the different components within this
- Exploration of DDP informed therapeutic parenting incorporating the attitude of PACE
