The Infant Mental Health DDP Interest Group meets online and bi-monthly. It is for colleagues who are at least DDP Level One trained and who are beginning to think about applying DDP principles in their practice in perinatal, infant, maternal, neonatal or similar services.
We hope to offer a safe space where people can explore using the principles in their work; the barriers to it and successes from it as well as any other themes that arise in this way of practicing.
We aim to model the model by holding onto PACE and connection when coming together in this space. The discussions are likely to include thinking about the research, service development, training, as well as anonymised casework (the SIG is however not a space of or substitute for peer or clinical supervision).
