Enhance your practice with this Master Class run by Dan Hughes
This workshop will provide those professionals who have already taken at least the DDP Level One course to have the opportunity to continue to develop their skills for implementing this treatment model in their clinical practice.
Dan will discuss and show videos that present the continuing development of the interventions and general practice of DDP. There will also be the opportunity for participants to discuss their challenging experiences in utilising DDP generally and with regard to specific cases.
Dr. Daniel Hughes created Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) as a treatment for families with adopted or fostered children who had experienced neglect and abuse in their birth families and suffered from significant developmental trauma.
It is based on and brings together attachment theory, what we understand about developmental trauma, the neurobiology of trauma, attachment and caregiving, intersubjectivity theory and child development.
Who should attend?
This workshop is open to professionals of all disciplines who have completed the DDP Level One training.
Places on this training are limited so early application is strongly advised.
