The Scotland DDP Interest Group is organised by Lesley Bell, Therapeutic Social Worker, and Claire Slocombe, Attachment Lead Teacher. Both Lesley and Claire utilise DDP principles in their work, have completed DDP Level One and Two training and are DDP PACE Trainers (supported by DDP Connects UK).
This session will focus on blocked trust that can result from relational trauma and potentially result in blocked care. We will refresh our knowledge of the theory and research around this but the main focus will be on how we use DDP principles to support young people, families and colleagues who face this situation.
This is an opportunity to build connections within the DDP community, bringing together colleagues from a range of backgrounds to share, reflect and further develop our DDP skills. This group is for anyone who has an interest in DDP and has completed DDP Level One and above.
