Train the Trainers Program for Group Facilitators
Foundations for Attachments Groupwork Program (FA) and Nurturing Attachments Training Resource (NA)
This is a 4 day course running on the following days: 20-24 September, 2021
Facilitators: Kim Golding CBE, Clinical Psychologist with assistance from Betty Brouwer, Director of Attachment Services at Shalem Mental Health Network, Canada.
The Train the Trainers program provides delegates with the tools to deliver the Foundations for Attachments and the Nurturing Attachments Group Work programs within parenting groups.
Objectives include a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Foundations for Attachments Program, Nurturing Attachments Training Resource, The Foundation and House Models of Parenting, PACE, the group work process, the development of mind-minded narratives and the theory that underpins them.
The group work programs include working with parents and carers parenting children who are living away from their birth parents e.g. foster carers, adopters, residential workers and kinship carers.
Who is it For?
Professionals who have completed DDP Level One and Two Trainings. Attendees do not need to live in England or the UK in order to register.
