This is a free DDP Interest Group for those working in Residential Settings who have completed training in DDP Level One and above.
It is organised by Dr. Leanne Johnson, Consultant Clinical Psychologist, who works from a DDP and Trauma Informed perspective across education and residential settings with Outcomes First Group and also practices DDP through the Adoption Support Fund on a private basis.
This is specifically set up for both clinicians as well as other professionals working within residential settings. The group will offer a safe space to recognise the impact of the work on them, as well as sharing good practice and enabling professional networking opportunities. There will also be opportunities for CPD as shaped by the group.
This is a brand new group and we are looking forward to developing the identity and needs of the group together moving forwards! The initial group will meet virtually; further meetings and locations will be decided upon as a group.
This group will be capped at 15 individuals who are able to commit to it for a year. We want to create a safe space that can offer the support between attendees with a shared experience. This is not a supervision space.
