Please join us for a day of sharing ideas around DDP with colleagues across the South West.
This South West DDP Study Day is organised by Dr Emma Greatbatch. It will include two presentations, as well as a workshop and some time to catch up on recent events in the world of DDP, and DDP Connects UK with Anna Binnie-Dawson.
Using DDP to support children in their transition to adoption
Jane Bowen, DDP Practitioner and Consultant, will be joined by Steph Maynard, Adoptive parent, to talk with us about their work together in supporting families where children feel they have been ‘stolen’ from their foster carers.
Bringing DDP to the mainstream: children’s stories and staff training in the early years
Dr Sarah Mundy, DDP Practitioner, will think with us about bringing DDP into mainstream childcare, through publication of children’s books and training packages for early years settings.
Workshop: Challenges in the use of DDP
Dr Emma Greatbatch, DDP Practitioner, Consultant and Trainer, will lead a workshop focussed on some of the common dilemmas and challenges in the use of DDP, both clinical and practical.
