This South West DDP Study Day is organised by Dr Emma Greatbatch. It will include the following presentations and workshop and provide a valuable opportunity to connect with others.
Integrating DDP principles within Therapeutic Life Story Work
Suzanne McGladdery, DDP informed Independent Social Worker, will present her work integrating DDP key principles and concept, such as shared intention, inter- subjectivity, impact on self and affective- reflective dialogue, into Therapeutic Life Story work with children.
Feeling like the wrong puzzle piece: a therapy journey
Dr Michelle Blundy, DDP Consultant and Practitioner, will be joined by Chloe and her Mum, Kate, to talk about their experience of DDP. They will share reflections on important conversations and experiences during their therapy journey, which started when Chloe was 7 years old. She is now 24.
Workshop: the gift of parents in DDP
Nikki Linfield, Art Therapist certified in DDP, will lead us in this multi-sensory workshop. Exploring and celebrating the richness parents can bring to the room in DDP.
