This South West Study Day will provide an opportunity for networking, include updates on DDP in the UK as well as practitioners presenting their DDP informed work in various settings.
Emma Greatbatch, Clinical Psychologist, DDP Practitioner and Consultant in Training, and Catriona Brown, DDP Level Two Counsellor and adoptive parent will bring an example of DDP with an adolescent whose presentation fits in many ways with an Autistic Spectrum Condition.
Sian Chapple, Clinical Psychologist and DDP Level Two trained, will be presenting on the group work, as well as the preparation work, she and her team offer with parents before they start working with the parent/carer and child together.
Julie Hudson, Clinical Psychologist, DDP Practitioner, Consultant, Trainer and DDP Connects UK Director and DDPI Board Member, will talk about developments in DDP Connects UK including new DDP Referral and Commissioning Guidance and the new concept of partner organisations. Julie will also summarise some of highlights from presentations during the April DDP 2-day conference in Stratford.
Please pay on the day, preferably by cash or with a cheque for £50.00 (payable to Vicky Sutton). Receipts will be available on the day.
