Everyone who has been offered a place on 19 March will have a place on the Worcester Study day. Julie will contact you about this if she hasn’t already done so and apologises for the inconvenience.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you need to check anything.
We made this decision to enable a combined day to discuss the first NICE Guideline Group Consultation document on Childrens Attachment Interventions. The Worcester Study day will also include updates about DDP, discussion about the Adoption Support Fund and two clinical presentations; one by Sue Drake and one by Emily Barnbrook.
Julie Hudson ran the first South West Study day on 2nd July 2014 at the Master Thatcher pub in Taunton. Anne-Marie Tipper and Janet Cassidy presented a narrative experiential exercise in the morning with Alison Keith and Vicky Sutton separately resenting aspects of their DDP practice in the afternoon. Feedback was excellent about all presentations and also the venue, including the hot lunches. Those who attended appreciated being in a smaller group (about 20 people came) as this enabled good discussion between everyone who came.
The next South West DDP Study Day will be in Autumn 2014.
It will be advertised on the website when the date and venue have been confirmed
Who can attend?
Anyone interested in DDP and relationship focused trauma-attachment informed approaches are welcome. You don’t need to have attended DDP Level One or Two to come to South West Study days.
