Train the Trainers Programme for Group Facilitators
Foundation for Attachment (FfA) and Nurturing Attachments (NA) Group Work
The Train the Trainers programme provides delegates with the tools to deliver the Foundations for Attachments and the Nurturing Attachments Group Work programmes within parenting groups.
Objectives include a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Foundations for Attachments Programme, Nurturing Attachments Training Resource, The Foundation and House Models of Parenting, PACE, the group work process, the development of mind-minded narratives and the theory that underpins them. Participants will also be confident modelling PACE through responding to group members and via role play and in helping others to develop the attitude of PACE in their parenting.
The group work programmes include working with parents and carers parenting children who are living away from their birth parents e.g. foster carers, adopters, residential workers and kinship carers.
Who is it For?
Participants will have completed DDP Level One training and the completion of DDP Level Two is recommended.
Participants should be familiar with at least one of the resources published by Jessica Kingsley Publishers and have it available during the training.
