Train the Trainers
Foundations for Attachments Groupwork Programme and Nurturing Attachments Training Resources
This is a 3 day course running on the following days: 28th February to 2nd March 2022
Trainer: Kim Golding, Clinical Psychologist
The Train the Trainers programme provides delegates with the tools to deliver the Foundations for Attachments and the Nurturing Attachments Group Work programmes within parenting groups.
Objectives include a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Foundations for Attachments Programme, Nurturing Attachments Training Resource, The Foundation and House Models of Parenting, PACE, the group work process, the development of mind-minded narratives and the theory that underpins them.
The group work programmes include working with parents and carers parenting children who are living away from their birth parents e.g. foster carers, adopters, residential workers and kinship carers.
Who is it For?
Professionals who have completed DDP level One and Two Trainings and have at least 5 years experience in supporting families caring for children who have experienced developmental trauma, for example social workers and therapists.
