Run by: Georgia Cooper
Hosted by Georgia Cooper this Yorkshire based SIG has a focus on reflection and self care. This PACE based space will allow practitioners time to reflect on the DDP model whilst gaining connection and understanding.
The work we do as professionals working with trauma is demanding. PACE is a way of being, offering it to others requires that we are fully available in the moment and invested in the relationships we build. This can be depleting as our greatest resource is our self. Our capacity to attune and embody our communication with clients is key in DDP, so allowing ourselves to recharge, be playful and accepting of ourself is a regular necessity!
The first Yorkshire meeting is a chance to meet others interested in DDP in the area and to engage in a joint enquiry into what participants might need from the space.
