Phoenix Psychology in Honiley, Warwickshire are looking for Clinical Psychologists, “specialising in complex Child and Family work”.
Phoenix Psychology is a respected independent provider of psychological services based in Warwickshire. We pride ourselves on providing ethical, clinician led services and being a great place to work.
We are looking for Clinical Psychologists to join our team specialising in complex Child and Family work on a permanent basis.
Phoenix works closely with Local Authorities and the NHS, as well as a range of residential services providing specialist assessments and interventions. We have several exciting projects that involve close collaboration with our colleagues in statutory services. We are a flexible and dynamic organisation and we are looking for new team members to help us continue to grow and respond.
Whilst we will tailor elements of the role to the post-holder’s talents, much of our work is with looked after and / or adopted children, parents / carers as well as children on the edge of care or with complex needs. Developmental Trauma and attachment is the ‘thread’ that connects the majority of our work. Our clinical services are very much informed by DDP and we strive for PACE to guide our work. Experience with the DDP model is desirable but we have a track record of investing in additional training and supporting the advancement of skills. We can support team members through the DDP practicum when ready. Additional skills and approaches are also very welcomed e.g. neurodevelopmental disorders, adult psychotherapy and trauma.
We offer a supportive, positive and motivating workplace with good development opportunities and we place value on individual skills and efforts. We have family friendly policies relating to work life balance.
Being an independent service, we can be responsive, flexible and ‘think outside the box’ – and the successful candidate must be able to do the same. Salary and benefits are competitive.
