Family Futures in Mildmay Ward, London N1, are looking for a Senior Clinical Psychologist with experience in DDP.
“We are looking to recruit a Clinical Psychologist at ‘Senior’ level, which requires two years’ experience of work in a related field. The candidate will have experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team with traumatised children who are fostered, adopted or in special guardianship placements. The key role of the psychologist in the team would be to conduct assessments and therapeutic interventions with families affected by developmental trauma. Providing consultation and training and participating in research projects are also likely to be aspects of the role.
The ideal candidate will:
- have an understanding of Family Futures NPP approach to the treatment of developmentally traumatised children
- be parent-positive and child friendly
- have an interest in working integratively and using body based approaches and the arts
- enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- have experience in DDP and/or Theraplay
This role will be an exciting and challenging position working closely in collaboration with other psychologists and the wider team. Family Futures offers high-quality supervision and professional development training.”
