The Post Order Support Service, based in Epsom, Surrey, are looking for a Trauma and Attachment Specialist with experience in adoption and ideally DDP training.
“The Post Order team is a multi-disciplinary team that has specialist knowledge and clinical skills regarding developmental trauma and attachment. It provides holistic therapeutic assessment, post-assessment therapeutic interventions, consultation and training alongside the ability to offer a full mental health service provision to children and young people.
The team work with children and young people who have either been adopted or who are placed in Special Kinship Care. The primary carers and attachment figures are critical to the work delivered by the members of this team.
We are looking for a Specialist Mental Health Therapist such as a Child Psychotherapist, Psychotherapist, Art therapist, Social worker, Family therapist, with 3 years post qualification experience and desirable additional training in at least one of the following: Theraplay, DDP, EMDR.”
The Post Order Support Service are a Specialist Service for children who are adopted and under special guardianship. This is a permanent, full-time, band 7 post, with a closing date for applications of 9th July 2019.
