Esland Care, a national children’s home provider based in Belper, Derbyshire, are looking for a Psychologist, Specialist Clinician or Trauma/Attachment Informed Therapist with training in DDP.
Dr Sam Piggott, Esland Care, writes:
“We are looking for a specialist therapist, recently qualified Psychologist or trauma informed therapist to work within our children’s residential care service. Our children have experienced significant trauma and we provide a clinical service which is rooted in trauma and attachment informed models of care and is strongly led by a “brain-based” approach. We work therapeutically with our children based on where they are functioning emotionally, developmentally and in accordance with their lived experiences.
The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated, enthusiastic and forward-thinking clinical team to provide needs, risk, strengths-based assessments and use a PACE informed approach to provide clinical consultations and training to our therapeutic care staff. Candidates with experience and/or qualifications in DDP, attachment, therapeutic care and knowledge of brain-based parenting will be particularly welcomed.
The positions will involve travel across our children’s homes (within their own regions – one north based, one south) and is paid at £30-£35k depending on level of expertise. ”
