DDP Connects UK are excited to announce the launch of our new DDP Connects UK Inclusion Fund.
The fund embodies our commitment to embracing and embedding diversity and inclusion, as we continue to support development of the DDP community in the UK and Ireland.
We are inviting applications to the fund from anyone who has completed DDP Level One training, identifies as being from a diverse group that may currently be under-represented in the DDP community, and who lives and/or works in the UK or Ireland.
The fund can grant up to £2000 per tax year towards the cost of further developing your DDP skills and practice (for example, undertaking further training, DDP Practicum or developing DDP informed services to meet the needs of under-represented groups). We hope to fund up to 5 applications in 2024.
Our new Inclusion Fund page contains more information about what the fund covers, what is required, who can apply and how to do this.
Update 30th January 2024
We are extremely excited and encouraged by the large number of enquires we have received to our recent posting about the inclusion fund.
We felt it would be helpful to people visiting and revisiting this page who are interested in applying to know that the Inclusion Fund panel will meet for the first time at the beginning of March 2024 to review applications and let you know the outcome of individual applications that have met the requirements outlined above.
As we said we hope to fund around 5 applications but might be able to extend this depending on the nature of the applications. You may receive individual requests for more information in the meantime but once you have had confirmation that your application has been received please could you wait to hear from the panel after this date.
