Groundbreaking News! Crossreach Children’s Services (residential care) and Moore House Care & Education, both based in Scotland, are the first two organisations in the UK to have been unanimously accepted by the DDPI Board to start the process of Organisation Certification. Both organisations provide care and education for children and young people who have experienced early years adversity.
Much preparation work has already been undertaken by Moore House and Crossreach to reach this stage, and both are passionate about continuing to embed DDP Practice into their work with children and families.
Paul Gilroy (Head of Service, paul.gilroy@crossreach.org.uk ) along with Moira Greentree and Douglas Hardy (Senior Manager, mgreentree@moorehouse.org.uk; Head of Services, dhardy@moorehouse.org.uk) are leading on the certification process in their respective organisations; all are absolutely delighted to have been accepted. Edwina Grant (DDP Practitioner, Consultant and trainer) has been and will continue to support their DDP journeys to certification.
