The Scotland DDP Interest Group is meeting online for the first time this October, 2022.
This launch event is a chance to welcome people, decide on themes and topics for future meetings and celebrate the growth of DDP in Scotland.
It is being held on Tuesday 25 October, 2022, from 2:30pm to 4:30pm, online using Microsoft Teams. It is open to anyone with an interest in DDP and have completed DDP Level One and above.
The group is being run by Lesley Bell and Claire Slocombe, both DDP PACE Trainers (supported by DDP Connects UK), DDP Level One and Two trained and who use DDP principles within their work.
Lesley Bell is a Therapeutic Social Worker working with Argyll & Bute Council based in the Care Experienced Young People’s CAMHS Team. Claire Slocombe is an Attachment Lead Teacher, adoptive mother and Associate Trainer working to improve trauma informed practice within foster and adoptive families and residential care settings.
“We hope to offer a space that will help build connections within the DDP community, bringing together colleagues from a range of backgrounds to share, reflect and further develop their DDP skills.”
This is a free event supported by DDP Connects UK.
