An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Supervising Social Worker to join Amicus Foster Care<\/a>, at a crucial point in its journey to become a DDP accredited agency.<\/p>\n

Amicus Foster Care<\/a> is an independent fostering agency supporting families to care for Children and Young People who are looked after by Local Authorities. The agency is small, friendly and responsive.<\/p>\n

They are looking to appoint a Supervising Social Worker, for Carers in the Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, Wiltshire area, to promote and maintain quality care in a family setting through supervision and support of foster carers within the organisation.<\/p>\n

The post holder will be assisted to undertake DDP Level One and Two to enable them to support foster carers in this approach. Supervisory social work experience is desirable.<\/p>\n

DDP Level One or a willingness to undertake the training is required and the closing date for applications is 5th April 2019<\/strong>. The post is permanent and full time, working 5 days a week.<\/p>\n
