Birmingham Children’s Trust are looking for a Principal Clinical Psychologist who has DDP Training and experience<\/a>, to join them on a part time, 12 month contract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The Therapeutic & Emotional Support Service (TESS) for children in care within Birmingham Children\u2019s Trust is excited to announce that we have an opportunity for a Principal Clinical Psychologist with DDP training (DDP Level Two or Practicum) to join us on a part time, 12 month fixed term contract basis as maternity leave cover.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are passionate about DDP and working in a relationship based, attachment aware, trauma informed and developmentally sensitive way; are looking for a way to supplement your independent practice; or just prefer part time hours (21.9 hours per week), this may be the role for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TESS is a supportive team made predominantly comprised of Social Workers with additional therapeutic training in a range of models and a small Clinical Psychology provision.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are looking for someone to cover as clinical lead for our Foundations for Attachment Groups, running DDP reflective practice groups for professionals, supporting DDP informed practice across TESS and hold a small caseload of dyadic work. The role will also involve consultation, liaison with the fostering, the professional network and partner agencies, and service evaluation.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Birmingham Children’s Trust is a based in Birmingham, West Midlands, and the closing date for applications is 28 September<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
