The Attachment Association of Canada, in association with the DDPI, is proud to present the DDP International Conference in Kingston, Canada, running from the October 30 to November 1, 2017.
Join us for this three day conference featuring specialist sessions by Dr Danny Yeung, Dr. Daniel Hughes and Dr Jon Baylin as well as numerous talks by presenters who use DDP in a range of educational and therapeutic settings.
Dr Danny Yeung is the Chair of International Development and Senior Faculty at the AEDP Institute, and a trainer and supervisor of Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP).
“Danny Yeung in his key note address will demonstrate how Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) transforms trauma in a client who has survived childhood sexual abuse by catalyzing three state transformations across four distinctive neuropsychological states. He will illustrate how the moment-to moment attunement by the therapist allows for a shift from rigid defensive states to affective states that are characterized by relief, lightness and hope.”

Dr. Daniel Hughes and Dr. Jon Baylin, co-authors of Brain Based Parenting (2012) and Neurobiology of Attachment (2016), will explore how AEDP can compliment DDP and the neurobiological evidence to support the use of these therapies for traumatised children.
Don’t miss this excellent opportunity to explore themes of attachment theory, neurobiology and intersubjectivity with experts in their fields and like-minded professionals.
